Welcome to Lizzie Curtis Elementary School where we work in collaboration with staff, students, and families to provide a nurturing environment that educates the whole child to achieve personal success.
 
As Lizzie Curtis Legends, we proudly bear the name of a legendary educator. Alice Elizabeth Curtis, who went by "Lizzie", taught in the first schoolhouse in our area, the Blue Mound School. Prior to the schoolhouse being built, she taught her students inside the homes of community members. 

It is an honor to be named after an educator who left a strong legacy of learning. We strive to be legendary leaders like our namesake - Lizzie Curtis.
